The mission of the Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival is to further the preservation and growth of Jazz music for future generations. Our goal is to encourage young musicians to play Jazz by educating them in its history and music.

The City of Pensacola is hosting the inaugural “Party in the Park” – a 2-day event to promote community engagement for the development of the Hollice T. Williams Equitable Development Framework Plan (Equity Plan) and to kick off the park design process. Features Slow Ride + Game of SKATE Friday and Bash under the Freeway Saturday.  CLICK HERE   

AFRICATOWN CULTURE FEST 2024- Sat 4pm-8pm, Africatown Heritage House

Attendees can enjoy a variety of engaging activities, enriching experiences, and soul-stirring entertainment that offers a taste of Black culture for all to appreciate. This free event is open to the community and features:

11th Annual KIDS DAY- Sat 9am-1pm, Tillman's Corner Community Center

Saddle up and ride on over for the Southwest Mobile County Chamber’s 11th Annual Kid's Day, a western-themed event. Beach Ball Drop at 12:00. FREE Uniforms, FREE School Supplies, FREE Haircuts by Genesis, Snow Cones, Games & Bounce Houses, and Petting Zoo. CLICK HERE 

OWA ISLAND DAY- Sat 2pm-8:30pm, OWA Parks & Resort, Foley

Start the fun with free kids’ activities, tropical games, and an Island Exploration Activity for all ages throughout Downtown OWA. Let the soothing sounds of a steel drum band transport you to the islands as they perform live on the Island Stage at 2:30 pm. Keep an eye out for tropical-style stilt walkers dancing through Downtown OWA and experience the chalk art competition! Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, leads a group of misfit friends - Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Jay, son of Jafar - as they navigate fitting in and discovering their identities.
