CITY OF FAIRHOPE Annual LIGHTING OF THE TREES- Thurs 5:30pm, Downtown Fairhope

The celebrations will kick off at 5:30 pm, culminating in the magical moment when the trees light up the night at precisely 6 pm. Mrs. Claus will be there, even the Grinch will make a special appearance. CLICK HERE   

FAIRHOPE’S 14th Annual MOVIE IN THE STREET: The Grinch -

The intersection of Section Street and Fairhope Avenue will be transformed into “Whoville” for the evening, providing a magical experience for families and friends. The event is open to the public and you’re encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Children are also invited to wear their favorite holiday pajamas.  CLICK HERE 

OWA’S TREE LIGHTING- Sat 4:30pm-7:30pm, Downtown OWA, OWA Parks & Resort, Foley

Kick off the holidays in style with American Idol winner Taylor Hicks at OWA’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The fun begins at 2:00 when Santa’s Elves arrive in Downtown OWA with games and activities. Then the holiday spirit comes alive at 4:45 p.m. as Taylor Hicks kicks off the evening with live performances by Luminary Entertainment Company, Ballet Pensacola, country music artist, Walker Montgomery, as well as Christmas stories with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the Taylor Hicks Duo. Then countdown to the fireworks show synchronized to holiday music, followed by the Christmas Tree Light Show. CLICK HERE 

CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR 2024- Thurs/Fri 7pm, Sat 2pm, Sun 4pm, Cottage Hill Baptist Church, Mobile

Kick off the Christmas season on the Gulf Coast as the University of Mobile Alabama School of the Arts presents “Christmas Spectacular 2024!” Now in its 22nd year, Christmas Spectacular showcases over 250 performers, all students, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra. CLICK HERE

PENSACOLA WINTERFEST- Fri 5pm-8pm, Sat/Sun 4:30pm-8pm, November 22–24, 29–30; December 1, 6–8, 13, 15, 20–24, Downtown Pensacola

Winterfest tours and performances light up beautiful Downtown Pensacola from Historic Seville to the Palafox Business District. Enjoy the free preshows and have visits with Santa and the Grinch each night of the event. 5th Annual TURKEY BOWL- Sun 1pm, Hancock-Whitney Stadium, USA campus, Mobile

Outside of the stadium, members of the Senior Bowl staff, Feeding the Gulf Coast and others will be assembling and providing Thanksgiving meals to 1,000 families in our community. 

Inside the stadium, Turkey Bowl football games will be played throughout the day by the Senior Bowl’s NFL Flag League winners and youth tackle football teams from Mobile area parks, CYO, and private school leagues. CLICK HERE    

41st Annual MOBILE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-4pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

This year’s theme is “Hidden Treasures”, inviting you to embark on a global adventure right here in Mobile! The day kicks off with a Parade of Flags during the Opening Ceremony, featuring special performances from the Excelsior Band, Africatown Drummers, belly dancers, Nalina Chitrakar, Red McWilliams, and more. SANTA ROSA CREEK BAND CREEK FEST 2024- Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, 4750 Willard Norris Rd, Milton

The Santa Rosa Band of the Lower Muscogee will be hosting their annual Creek Fest with nationally recognized Native American entertainment, Pow Wow Drum, Pow Wow style dancing and Creek stomp dancing, living Creek village, re-enactment of the Battle of Chumuckla between Creeks and soldiers, traditional Indian roasted corn and fry bread, and more. CLICK HERE

Hollidazzle is a fun night with live music, a catered dinner, free art lottery with over 50 artworks to be given away and more. All donations go toward providing free youth art classes and low cost art classes for adults, while also providing local support to our regional artists. CLICK HERE  

5K UNDER THE BAY - Sat 8am, Mardi Gras Park, Downtown Mobile

Join City of Mobile Parks and Recreation and MPRD Fitness for a 5K Run with a purpose! This run is highlighting nine causes, each represented by a specific color. Wear a t-shirt in the color that aligns with the cause you're supporting and help spread awareness. The 5K route will begin at Mardi Gras Park and loop through the Bankhead Tunnel.  CLICK HERE
