SAND IN MY BOOTS FEST *** SOLD OUT ****- Fri-Sun, Gates open at 12PM each day; The Hangout and Gulf Shores public beach, Gulf Shores 

Three days and nights of music and fun curated by Morgan Wallen, on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores (replacing the Hangout Music Festival this year). ARMED FORCES DAY CELEBRATION- Sat 8am-3pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile

MISSISSIPPI BAND OF CHOCTAW INDIANS: CULTURAL FESTIVAL- Sat 11am -3pm, Mobile Museum of Art, Langan Park, Mobile

This family-friendly event features live performances, cultural artifact sharing, and engaging discussions centered on Jeffrey Gibson’s Round Dancing. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians are descendants of those who resisted relocation during the Trail of Tears, preserving their heritage as a sovereign nation of over 11,000 Tribal members—including artist Jeffrey Gibson.  CLICK HERE  

ASIAN/PACIFIC AMERICAN FESTIVAL- Sat/Sun 9am-6pm, Fil-Am Cultural Center, 234 Oakfield Road, Pensacola

This family-friendly, two-day event will feature over 30 vendors and multiple cultural dance troupes, offering a vibrant celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage. Admission is free and open to the public.  CLICK HERE  

GUMBO YA-YA COOKOFF- Sat 4pm-6pm, Seville Quarter, Downtown Pensacola

Amateur and professional cooking teams will compete for bragging rights for the best Gumbo in Pensacola. Visit the chefs' tables and sample dozens of delicious gumbo varieties! All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. CLICK HERE   

2nd Annual RUBBER DUCK RACE to benefit ESCAMBIA COUNTY SCHOOLS- Sat 10am (doors open); 2pm (Races begin), Splash City Adventures, Pensacola

ORANGE BEACH BILLFISH CLASSIC- Fri 7pm weigh ins; Sat 6pm weigh ins, Marlin Circle, The Wharf, Orange Beach

This is the first major qualifying tournament of the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series. The Orange Beach Billfish Classic is a family run tournament that emphasizes team participation and is the only tournament on the Gulf Coast owned and operated by tournament fishermen! MOBILE UNITED 10th Annual CREPE MYRTLE TRAIL RIDE and FESTIVAL - Sat 8am Ride; 10am-3pm Festival, McNally Park, Mobile

This event is perfect for nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts alike. Explore the scenic route adjacent to Mobile Bay. The group will leave McNally Park at 8:35 a.m., ride as a group across Brookley Field, break at Arlington Park for 30 minutes, then return to ride directly into the beginning of the Crepe Myrtle Trail Fest, with kayaking, food, fun, music and more.  CLICK HERE

During this Spring night-time event, the Gardens will be transformed into a dazzling showcase of light, color, and culture.
